Successful in competition Baumkirchen Mitte

The design by schneider+schumacher for a residential and commercial building in Munich´s new quarter Baumkirchen Mitte was shortlisted after the second phase. Beforehand it had received one of two first prizes.

the design emphasizes the importance of housing in the new quarter Baumkirchen Mitte by presenting a 17-storey high-rise. A lower building (6 floors) in the West contains offices. The proposed energy concept is designed to meet the German Sustainable Building Council’s (DGNB) Gold certification requirements. The competition was set up by CA Immo and PATRIZIA in cooperation with the Landeshauptstadt München.
